Desert Group / desert INK

Desert Group / desert INK brings together landscape services and an outdoor design practice identified as desert INK. Its contacts support open-space and landscape inquiries, connecting design, construction, and maintenance with environmental use conditions. The relationship between program, layout, and context is central when considering services of this kind: spatial decisions need to respond to planned activities, site characteristics, and the needs of people using the facilities.

Landscape design requires coordination of circulation, levels, planting, and gathering areas with architecture and site conditions. Surfaces and elements should account for maintenance and the way a place changes over time, connecting the everyday experience of users with the operation of the wider built and planted setting.

An initial inquiry benefits from identifying the building use, location, approximate area, and whether the assignment involves new construction or an existing property. Reviewing comparable projects helps frame a discussion about scope, design stages, and coordination with the specialists required for the proposed work.
