De Dietrich Thermique

De Dietrich Thermique is the French heating brand of the BDR Thermea group, headquartered in Mertzwiller, in Alsace. It manufactures boilers, heat pumps and heating and hot-water systems for single-family and collective housing.

Thermal comfort is not measured in degrees alone: humidity, draughts and noise affect occupants' perception. Choosing suitable terminals, well-placed diffusers and intuitive controls improves satisfaction without driving up consumption.

In refurbishment, replacing a boiler or an old system should be studied together with insulation and joinery. Acting only on the generator without improving the envelope limits savings and may leave comfort problems unsolved.
