About BIM Academy
BIM Academy is a Newcastle-based digital construction consultancy, founded as a joint venture between Northumbria University and Ryder Architecture, that supports clients in BIM adoption, information management, research and training across the built environment.
A BIM service should not be judged only by model quality: the critical issue is information governance, standards such as ISO 19650, responsibilities for each model and data for operation after handover. Define those rules before modelling starts.
