About BEHF Architects
BEHF Architects is a Vienna office founded in 1995, with around 120 architects, planners and interior designers, that takes projects from initial strategy through to completion. Its office is on Kaiserstraße in Vienna's 7th district, and its work covers offices, retail, hospitality and the refurbishment of historic buildings.
For directory users, BEHF's value lies in its ability to handle complex interiors within large-scale projects, such as hotel bars and restaurants, corporate headquarters and commercial spaces. Its award-winning interiors show a restrained use of high-quality materials and attention to detail that aims to give a contemporary character without erasing a building's history.
When making contact, it helps to distinguish between a purely interior commission and an integrated architecture and general-planning project. In the latter case, it is worth asking from the outset about cost control, scheduling and site management, services the office provides in an integrated way.
