About Atelier 9.81
Atelier 9.81 is an architecture practice based in Lille (Hauts-de-France) whose work covers Lille practice with housing, public facility and refurbishment projects in northern France. Its projects are mainly in France, spanning different scales, from the individual building to urban intervention.
Its work with existing buildings makes it pertinent to refurbishment, extension and change-of-use projects, an increasingly central field in France. Weighing its experience in this area helps anticipate how it will treat structure and memory of place.
In refurbishment, the prior survey of the building shapes the whole project, and a track record in similar interventions carries real weight. The listing provides the contact and location details needed to request specific references.
