ArcelorMittal Belgium

ArcelorMittal Belgium is the Belgian arm of the world's largest steel group, with its integrated plant at Ghent and further sites at Geel, Genk and Liège, employing around 5,000 people and producing roughly 5 million tonnes of steel a year. It is the largest steel producer in Belgium and a cornerstone of the Ghent canal-zone industry.

Its output covers flat steel products for automotive, construction, packaging and household appliances, including coated and high-strength grades. The Ghent plant is an integrated site, from hot metal to cold rolling and coating, giving it a complete production chain within Belgium.

For construction, ArcelorMittal Belgium supplies structural and coated steels for buildings, infrastructure and the energy transition, and it is investing in decarbonisation of its Ghent operations. Its scale and product breadth make it the reference steel supplier in the Belgian market.
