Alfix A/S is a Danish family-owned building materials manufacturer in Kolding, developing and producing quality products for Scandinavian building centres, mainly for the professional segment. Its range covers casting and levelling compounds, wet-room membranes, tile adhesives, joint compounds, facade renders and facade paints.

For tiling and wet-room systems, specify the full build-up — primer, membrane, adhesive, grout and sealant — from compatible products, and check substrate conditions and drying times between layers. In wet rooms, membrane continuity at corners, drains and penetrations matters more than any single product.

Keep products in dry storage and within their shelf life, and follow mixing ratios and open times exactly, since site-added water or rushed application undermines adhesion. Record product names and batch numbers so any later defect can be traced to a specific system.
