About Alfa Wood Group S.A.
Alfa Wood Group, based at its Larissa industrial site, is Greece's largest wood-processing company according to its own website, making melamine surfaces, MDF, chipboard, countertops, floors and doors, with plants at Larissa, Grevena, Drama and Komotini.
When choosing boards and timber for joinery, check the formaldehyde emission class, moisture resistance and finish: a melamine board for a kitchen or bathroom cannot carry the same specification as one for dry furniture, and the price difference is repaid in durability. For Alfa Wood Group S.A., it is worth recording these criteria in the request for quotation.
It is also sensible to request real samples and check edge, thickness and dimensional stability before ordering large series. In the case of Alfa Wood Group S.A., that prior check avoids most surprises on site.
