About Alcro-Beckers AB
Alcro-Beckers AB, based in Stockholm, is the Swedish manufacturer behind the Alcro and Beckers decorative paint brands, aimed at professional painters and consumers. Its range covers interior and exterior paints, lacquers, varnishes and wood treatment products, with a strong focus on Nordic eco-labelled products.
When choosing paint, first define the substrate, exposure and desired finish, then the full primer and coat system. An incompatible system or poor preparation are the most frequent causes of peeling and poor results.
For exteriors in the Nordic climate, consider resistance to moisture, temperature changes and radiation, as well as repainting intervals. Comparing coverage per litre helps calculate the real cost of the job, not just the price per tin.
