About Agreca
Aggregate quality turns on grading, cleanliness and fines content: dirty sand or poorly graded gravel can demand more cement and water and weaken the resulting concrete. Before buying, ask for the grading curve, the quarry of origin and whether the material is washed or screened.
On delivery, check that the material has not been mixed with soil or organic matter and that site stockpiles sit on a clean surface, separated by size. Well-stockpiled aggregate keeps its grading; material mixed with ground soil quickly loses its technical value.
