About ADLER-Werk Lackfabrik Johann Berghofer GmbH & Co KG
ADLER-Werk Lackfabrik Johann Berghofer GmbH & Co KG, in Schwaz in Tyrol, is a family-owned Austrian paint and varnish manufacturer producing coatings and wood protection products, mainly water-based, for furniture, windows, doors and construction.
For a coating project, the key step is to select the system by substrate and exposure, not by colour alone, since interior furniture varnish, window coatings and exterior wood protection have different build-ups and maintenance cycles. Requesting a system sheet for the exact substrate avoids premature failure.
It is also worth checking colour availability, drying conditions and the recommended maintenance interval before scheduling the work. Keeping the system documentation with the project record helps whoever maintains the surface later.
