About Abscis Architecten
Abscis Architecten is a Ghent architecture studio founded in 1988, with teams in Ghent, Brussels and Antwerp, working on housing, offices and education.
The studio advocates an integral, process-oriented approach in which analysis of the social, economic and historic context precedes design.
Its projects seek to anchor each building in its surroundings and future use, with carefully chosen materials and attention to sensory experience.
